EXTRACTION ENGINE READY

ENGINE SCL · v1.1.0
EVERY COLUMN
HAS A LINEAGE.
SCALPEL SEALS IT.
"That is not an ETL problem. That is not a data quality problem. Scalpel seals the extraction before the row commits. Quality scored. Type verified. Null class resolved. Every extraction. Identically."
01
THE COLUMN
ARRIVES INTACT.
A mis-typed column at ingestion. A hidden null masquerading as a valid value. A silent schema drift between Tuesday and Wednesday. The downstream model trains on corruption. The dashboard reports a number nobody can defend. Scalpel verifies column completeness, type confidence, and null structure before extraction commits. If the column does not pass, the extraction halts. Not branches. Halts safely with a sealed reason code.
02
THE NULL
IS NOT A QUESTION.
Nulls in enterprise data are not all equal. A structural null — the field was never collected — is fundamentally different from an incidental null — the field was collected but lost in transit. Scalpel classifies null type at extraction time, sealed in the receipt. Downstream analytics never have to guess what the missing value means.
03
THE LINEAGE
PROVES IT HAPPENED.
Every extraction produces a dual-hash receipt as a by-product of sealed execution. Layout captures column structure, payload captures extracted values. Both sealed in the same atomic operation. Years later, a regulator asks: did this column arrive intact, and was the type verified at the point of extraction? The receipt answers — without rebuilding the pipeline.
THREE INDEPENDENT LAYERS.
ZERO TOLERANCE.
"Quality scored. Null resolved. Lineage sealed. The column only commits when three independent layers converge at the extraction gate."
LAYER 01 · column_quality.wasm
COLUMN QUALITY SCORE
Composite verdict combining completeness rate, type confidence, and null structure into a deterministic score sealed at extraction time. No machine learning. No probabilistic confidence intervals. Same column, same input — same score. Always.
LAYER 02 · null_class_resolver.wasm
NULL CLASS RESOLVER
Distinguishes structural absence from incidental loss at the moment of extraction. Sealed verdict accompanies every column. Downstream consumers know exactly what the absence of data means without rebuilding the lineage.
LAYER 03 · extraction_seal.wasm
DUAL-HASH EXTRACTION RECEIPT
Layout signature captures column structure. Payload signature captures extracted values. Both sealed in the same atomic operation. Tamper-evident, court-admissible, regulator-defensible. The receipt is the audit trail — generated as a by-product of deterministic execution.
